Portfolio
Consult the main realisations of ORDECSYS in the following fields:
Optimization, logistics et risk management
Orange - "Expansion de capacités sur un réseau de télécommunication avec demandes incertaines"
The study realized by ORDECSYS for Orange R&D explores new techniques based on robust optimization to solve the network capacity expansion problem with uncertain demands.
Planets - EU-FP7 - "Stochastic energy scenarios"
The Planets research program aims to analyze the stochastic aspects in energy-environment systems and propose new ways to deal with them in long term energy scénarios. ORDECSYS and C-ORDEE are proposing different methods to include stochasticity in integrated assessment energy-environment models.
LEAQ - "Coupling energy-environment models in Luxemburg"
ORDECSYS is consultant for Centre de Recherche Public Henry Tudor in Luxemburg to develop a coupling between an energy model and a model simulating air pollution episods. The couplage is realized with OBOE.
EDF - "Managing electricity production in the mid term"
ORDECSYS has realized a study for Electricité de France on optimization under uncertainty for the management of electricity production in the mid term term.
EDF - "Solving the global problem of production management "
The study realized by ORDECSYS and EURODECISION has explored the feasibility of several modeling techniques and solution methods to enrich the existing model portefolio of the company. Three axes have been explored: treatment of incertainty, dialogue between modèls and column génération for mixed integer programming.
NCCR - climate - "Applications pour OBOE"
Several applications of OBOE have been realized to interconnect economic growth models and climatic change models. These applications have been used in the Swiss NCCR-Climate program of the Fonds National Suisse.
Energy - environnement
LEAQ - "Energy-Environment Model for Luxemburg"
ORDECSYS is consultant for Centre de Recherche Public Henry Tudor in Luxemburg to develop a coupling between an energy model and a model simulating air pollution episods. The energy model used is ETEM.
Planets - EU FP7 - "Stochastic energy scenarios"
The Planets research program aims to analyze the stochastic aspects in energy-environment systems and propose new ways to deal with them in long term energy scénarios. ORDECSYS and C-ORDEE are proposing different methods to include stochasticity in integrated assessment energy-environment models.
Toscin - EU FP6 - "Evaluating R&D cooperation with China and India"
The Tocsin program aims at evaluating the opportunities to reduce GHG emissions in China and India. It also aims at fixing cooperation conditions for a european technology transfert.
EDF - "Feasability study on an european energy model"
ORDECSYS has realized for Electricité de France-R&D, in partnership with KanORS et KANLO, a feasability study on a european energy and environment model. The model is based on the TIMES/VEDA methodology.
EDF - "Energy demand in the residential sector"
ORDECSYS with C-ORDEE has analysed for Electrivité de France-R&D the economic factors of electricity demand in the residential sector. This study contained an econometrical analysis of the demand realized with the assistance of the company of M. Alain Bousquet.
EUREKA - WEBAIR, "Urban energy Model ETEM"
For EUREKA projects, the experts of ORDECSYS, associated with the austrian company ESS, have developed an integrated approach using GIS, dispersion model of atmospherical pollutant and economical activity model, permitting to evaluate environment policy in large urban community.
European Fusion Development Agreement (EFDA) - "Global Energy Model"
ORDECSYS has managed during one year a consortium made up of KanORS, HALOA and the Université Catholique de Leuven to built a global energy model for the EFDA. This model is based on the TIMES/MARKAL methodology.
French Ministry of Sustainable Development - Impact and management of climate changes (GICC Project) - "Oil geographic strategy and climate"
With the french institute of international relation (IFRI), ORDECSYS has developed a model (hierarchical game) of the strategical behavior of oil-producing countries in a post-Kyoto context.
French Ministry of Sustainable Development - Impact and management of climate changes (GICC Project) - "Simulation of GHG reduction policies"
With the company KANLO, this research program aims at simulate the possible evolution of GHG reduction policies in a post 2012 context, taking in account strategic interactions between the different actors.
Services of french Prime Minister - Center of strategical analysis (CAS) - "Simulation for a carbon value evaluation"
This project has been realized with C-ORDEE. The objective of those simulations is to determine a value for the carbon to be used to evaluate infrastructure investment projects.
Systems
PALEXPO Genève - "Computation of economic impacts"
ORDECSYS has developed a dynamic data base system permitting the management of the international show organizer in Geneva (PALEXPO ) de calculer les retombées économiques to compute the direct and indirect economic impact and fiscal returns generated by the activities of PALEXPO.
CICG Genève - "Computation of economic impacts and simulation of business plans"
ORDECSYS has developed an approach to compute lthe économic direct and indirect impact and the fiscal returnrecettes fgenerated by the activities of "Centre International de Conférence à Genève" (CICG). The system also permits a simulation of business plans and the optimization of an optimal mix of conferences and shows to program while being consistent with the proposed mission of CICG.
Genève Tourisme - "Complete cost Analysis"
ORDECSYS has realized for Genève-Tourisme an analysis of the cpmplete costs for Fêtes de Genève in 2006 et 2007.
Aéroport de Genève - "Affectation of security check personnel "
ORDECSYS has analysed the need in personnel to manage the bagage security check at Aéroport international de Genève.
Office Cantonal de l'Emploi (OCE) - "Office layout to receive job seeking persons"
ORDECSYS has analysed using a queuing network model, a new design for a service centre of OCE to job seeking persons.
